The International Standard Recording Code (ISRC) as defined in ISO 3901 identifying the sound recording(s) that makes up the resource.

An ISRC comprises four parts: two characters, followed by three alphanumeric characters, then two digits and five digits.

A value in the ResourceISRC Cell is mandatory if available to the licensee. This field is important for licensors for their processing and would ideally be mandatory in this part of the DSR standard. However, as there are rare cases where licensees genuinely do not have this information, the Cell is conditional.

The exact data to be communicated in the MusicalWorkComposerAuthor Cell shall be determined by the bilateral agreement between the licensee and the licensor.

The order of the values in the MusicalWorkComposerAuthorName and MusicalWorkComposerAuthorPartyId Cells shall be the same so that the licensee is able to link names and identifiers correctly.

The MusicalWorkComposerAuthor Cell in the CX01 Record may also be used to communicate detailed data about the composer(s) and/or author(s) on whose behalf the claim in a right share is being made.

The unblended percentage is the percentage claim made before a percentage weighting has been applied between the mechanical right and the performing right in the musical work which is the subject of the Record.

BlendedShare ClaimedFor MechAndPerf

The blended percentage right share claim that is being made by the rights controller or the licensor, as determined by the bilateral agreement between the licensee and the licensor, for the mechanical right and the performing right in respect of the musical work(s) the licensor has identified from the data contained in the DSR Message to which the data contained in the CDM Statement is a response. 

For example, if a licensor uses a right share claim split of 75% for the mechanical right and 25% for the performing right, and the licensor is claiming 50% for the mechanical right and 25% for the performing right, the BlendedShareClaimedForMechAndPerf shall be (50% x 75%) + (25% x 25%) = 43.75%.

The percentage splits data that is used here are the values provided in the RightsTypeSplitMechanical and RightsTypeSplitPerforming Cells in the Summary Record referenced by the SummaryRecordId.

The BlendedShareClaimedForMechAndPerf shall be provided as a decimal with 0 representing 0% and 100 representing 100%.
